Brilliant, overall clean place and lovely area. Marvellous location a short walk to city centre. Great staff always on hand. Savoury and tasty breakfasts, with home smoked salmon, even in house produced butter plus marmalades.

Had 1 night in Great Ouseburn, spending my time here lovely. My room included an electric kettle, central heating and a TV set with satellite channels. Excellent service, although a few employees were slightly disorganised. The hotel's location was stunning, near to the sanctuary, pub / restaurant and the establishment.

I had stylish, new-fashioned room with immaculately cleaned, equally huge bed, large bath. The hotel's position was excellent, so close to the coast to coast way of the roses, and restaurant and great breakfast.

Brand-new rooms had an electric kettle, central heating, and television with satellite channels. The location was magnificent for exploring this comfortable area, adjacent to the sanctuary offered at The Lime Tree which has been beautifully styled, and coast. Had hot drinks in the downstairs bar.
